A Day in the Life
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Designs, implements and executes human resources strategies for business unit and functional groups.
- Partners with business operations to ensure a complete understanding of business needs and objectives and proactively resolves HR and business issues.
- Provides solutions through organizational effectiveness and employee life cycle management.
- Anticipates and plans for long-term human resource needs and trends in partnership with business management.
- Responsible for and/or serves as an HR liaison in key projects.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
Requires advanced management and leadership knowledge to lead cross-department project teams or manage across multiple functions. Typically has mastery within a specific technical or broad expertise across multiple related disciplines. Requires a Baccalaureate degree (or for degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree which satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A)) and a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience with 10+ years of managerial experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 13 years of relevant experience and 10+ years of managerial experience.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD): $206,400.00 - $309,600.00. This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP) and an annual long-term incentive plan.
