About the team
The Inventory Planning product team owns products that span across Inventory Placement, S&OP, and Inventory Health. The team aims to provide better customer experience and minimize overall operational cost through inventory planning automation, optimization, prediction, and simulation.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for defining end-to-end capacity planning product for Fulfillment By TikTok, from product ideation to product launch.
- Define success metrics for capacity planning together with key stakeholders. Perform in-depth research and analysis of performance deviations, and generate insights and recommendations.
- Cooperate with product, network planning, operations, data, algorithm, and other related teams to design, implement and improve capacity planning systems and processes.
- Drive product upgrades and innovations that are best suited for the US market.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor degree or above, more than 5 years of product management experience in Supply Chain/Logistics planning.
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.
- High attention to detail and proven track record in taking ownership, driving results and moving with speed to implement ideas.
- Excellent communication skills, cross-team collaboration, and system project management skills.
- Ability to think outside the box and take initiative in innovation to solve complex problems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in S&OP/capacity planning.
- 5+ years of technical product management experience in leading E-commerce or logistics companies.
- Independent and entrepreneurial outlook.
- Cross-region and cross-culture work experience.
Job Information:
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $199,000 - $393,000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors.
We cover 100% premium coverage for employee medical insurance, approximately 75% premium coverage for dependents and offer a Health Savings Account (HSA) with a company match.
Our time off and leave plans are: 10 paid holidays per year plus 17 days of Paid Personal Time Off (PPTO) and 10 paid sick days per year.
