A Modifly Executive Account Director is adept at agency account management, media agency expertise, and people leadership; as leader of our nimble account team. As the Executive Account Director, you will play a pivotal role in managing and enhancing client relationships, driving business growth, and ensuring client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Expand existing client relationships and identify new opportunities for business growth.
  • Delivery Management: Ensure all work is delivered on time and within budget.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards for deliverables and oversee quality control across departments.
  • Resource Utilization: Manage Account team utilization, ensuring alignment with billable expectations.
  • Strategic Staffing: Lead organizational structure and staffing initiatives to meet project demands.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain positive, long-term client relationships, serving as a key interface.
  • Team Capabilities Roadmaps: Develop and execute strategic plans for growing team capabilities and positioning existing services.
  • Department Leadership: Drive team success through goal setting, performance feedback, onboarding, and continuous mentorship.
  • Executive Presence: Demonstrate thought leadership and represent the organization in local communities, exhibiting executive gravitas.
  • Internal Motivation: Foster a positive team culture and strong relationships within the Executive Leadership Team.
  • Hands-on Collaboration: Actively engage in tasks at various levels when needed, utilizing comprehensive department knowledge.

EAD specific responsibilities:

  • Client Satisfaction & Net Promoter Score (NPS): Develop strategies to ensure high client satisfaction, monitor and improve NPS, and address client feedback promptly.
  • P&L Growth: Collaborate with the executive team to set and achieve revenue and profit goals, identify growth opportunities within accounts, and drive revenue through upselling and cross-selling.
  • Internal Voice of Client: Act as the client’s primary advocate within the organization, ensure clear communication of client needs, and provide insights based on feedback and market trends.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor the Account team to foster a high-performance, collaborative culture, set performance expectations, and develop training programs.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to overall business strategy by providing input on market trends, competition, and client needs.
  • Local Development: Lead internal culture development in the San Diego market and drive client growth and development within the local market (San Diego preferred).
  • Executive Interface: Ensure every client has proper relationship mapping to Modifly, including top-to-top relationship establishment.

Requirements:

  • 12+ years of experience in an agency environment in roles related to sales, growth, business development and/or account management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in a senior client management role within the media agency industry.
  • Strong understanding of paid media strategies and services.
  • Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and achieving P&L targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Leadership experience with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to contribute to the overall business strategy.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

This role will be compensated via base salary, based on experience and location.
