Key Activities
  • Lead and manage a team of electrical engineers in the design and development of electrical systems and components.
  • Coordinate and oversee project timelines, ensuring all deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, software, and project management, to align on project goals and requirements.
  • Mentor team members, providing guidance and support to enhance their professional development and technical skills.
  • Conduct technical reviews and design evaluations to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with electrical design and implementation processes.
  • Participate in customer meetings to present engineering solutions and solicit feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Participation in supplier negotiations, First Article Inspections (FAI) and bid projects
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in electrical engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical design principles, circuit analysis, and system integration.
  • Proficiency in using electrical design software and tools such as AutoCAD, MATLAB, or similar.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey complex technical concepts effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a diverse team and facilitate a collaborative working environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a results-oriented approach.
