YOUR DAY-TO-DAY
As a Vet Surgical Assistant, you will play a vital role in conducting pre-surgical assessments, administering pre-anesthetic medications, providing hands-on assistance during surgeries, continuously monitoring patients, overseeing the recovery process, and ensuring high standards of hygiene and inventory management in the clinic. Your work will be pivotal in ensuring that animals receive high-quality care and the clinic runs smoothly in a high-volume environment.
Here's what you need to become our Vet Surgical Assistant:
A background in rescue, shelter, or surgery departments is preferred!

Friends of the Animals in Medford, OR has an incredible opportunity for you. We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate full- or part-time Vet Surgical Assistant to join our team. With a competitive salary ranging from $19 - $22 per hour and the chance to work full- or part-time, this role offers the perfect opportunity to combine your love for animals with a rewarding career.

For part-time positions, we provide flexibility and the opportunity to contribute anytime during the full-time shifts. The full-time work schedule for this animal care position includes any of the following schedules:
- 7 AM - 4 PM, Monday through Friday
- 8 AM - 5 PM, Monday through Friday
- 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday through Friday

- Dedication to upholding high standards of animal care and welfare
