The Emerging and Expansion (E&E) team oversees Amazon Business Canada, Mexico and new launches. This role is for our Amazon Canada Team. Launched in October of 2019, Amazon Business Canada is focused on building Amazon Business into the largest and most innovative Business-to-Business (B2B) marketplace in the world. Our customers include individual professionals, small businesses to large institutions from every industry vertical.


We are seeking a talented, results-driven, customer-focused, and innovative Sr. Product Manager to lead our core inputs initiatives, including Pricing, Selection and New Customer Verification flow. As the person responsible for Amazon’s CA B2B core input product management strategy and roadmap, you will support setting the direction and leading the team to redefine the selection and pricing offered to our customers, and improving our verification speed. You will have the opportunity to work with local CA Retail and 3P teams, WW Selection and Pricing PMs and Development teams.


An ideal candidate is someone with a high degree of ownership, who likes experimenting and setting high standards, with a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude. Must be able to think creatively, deal with ambiguity, and manage changing priorities. This person must have a high degree of autonomy with the ability to develop solutions and drive projects forward with minimal guidance. You will own the weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting of customer segment performance and identify areas of opportunity.


Key Job Responsibilities

  1. Act as a business owner within a scope of work, representing the voice of the AB small business and individual professional customers in CA to drive forward solutions through extended partner teams (tech and non-tech).
  2. Establish key metrics (KPIs), identify gaps, and improve performance within the scope of influence.
  3. Actively identify and resolve both strategic and tactical issues that may impair the ability to meet strategic, financial, and product roadmap goals.
  4. Capture, document, and communicate business requirements. Translate requirements into features and user stories.
  5. Own project status updates to stakeholders and leadership.
  6. Conduct customer research and analyze existing customer and performance data. Successful candidate will be able to work comfortably with both qualitative and quantitative data, and able to turn data inputs into business actionable insights.
  7. Own regular business updates on verification, selection and pricing results. Candidate will be required to provide regular updates to the leadership - strong verbal and written communications skills is a must.
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in Marketing, Pricing, Retail, Selection and Product teams to ensure improvements in our core inputs that drive Amazon Business growth flywheel.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience.
  2. Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  3. Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
  4. Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
  5. Experience with end to end product delivery.
  6. Experience as a product manager or owner.
  7. Experience owning technology products.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights.
  2. Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
