The Head of Product is the architect of our success in the ever-evolving landscape of investments, ensuring our products not only meet but exceed industry standards while staying agile and adaptive to the challenges posed by risk, regulations, and market dynamics.

Key responsibilities include defining and deciphering competitive market requirements and opportunities, carefully crafting innovative investment products, and delivering unwavering support to fortify the competitiveness of our existing offerings. This entails a proactive approach to integrating risk management, regulatory compliance, and real-time market intelligence to meet client needs in every phase of the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Holds overall responsibility for the organization's investment products.
  • Oversees the firm's investment products, developing and managing solutions tailored to client needs in asset management.
  • Facilitates collaboration among various teams for effective product support, including marketing, sales, operations, legal, risk and compliance, and technology.
  • Monitors industry trends, interprets data for product development, and identifies new opportunities to meet customer needs.
  • Takes a client-focused, strategic approach, demonstrating deep product knowledge and conducting detailed analyses of client segments and the competitive landscape.
  • Takes a lead role in creating and executing product management roadmaps, emphasizing pricing, promotion, and distribution strategies to position products strategically and determine competitive differentiators.
  • Generates ideas and solutions to enhance product performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience - required .
  • 5+ years of experience in Financial Services Sales or related field.
  • 3+ years supervisory experience.
  • 7-10 years of experience in product management, operations, client management - preferred.
  • Series 7, and 66 (or equivalent) - required .
  • Series 24 required within 6 months of hire.
  • Strong coaching skills and willingness to provide constructive feedback.
  • Proven results and demonstrated sustainable success in a competitive sales environment.
  • Ability to work at a computer for extended periods of time.
