Apply now for the position of Configuration Management Professional , and you will join our team to oversee the integrity and consistency of changes to Siemens Healthineers Ultrasound Products across global manufacturing sites.
This is a hybrid position in our Issaquah, WA office.
Your Role:
- Development of change control configuration management planning documentation and procedures.
- Oversee the Configuration Management of similar/same products produced at multiple manufacturing locations.
- Authorization to release of change-sets, processes, drawings and software configuration changes specified by management and other functional groups.
- Provide subject matter advice and guidance on Configuration Management best practice methods, standards, and requirements to individuals responsible for the product lifecycle management.
- Monitor and manage corrective action plans and implements process improvement responses.
- Coordinate with cross-departmental/functional teams and suppliers to support/initiate related communications as required to complete assigned tasks.
- Use of the configuration management tools, such as version control systems, change management systems, or configuration management software, to record, track, and monitor the changes and their impacts on the project or system.
Your Expertise:
- Knowledge of current systems engineering and integration tools and methodologies.
- Experience with the change management and product lifecycle and associated configuration management processes used for highly integrated and sophisticated products.
- Management of product design changes with varying effectivity across multiple products and global manufacturing sites.
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to our inclusive culture.
Required Skills, Education and Experience for this position:
- B.S. degree in engineering, computer science, or related discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in configuration management within the aerospace, medical devices, automotive, or other related industries.
- Experience in managing development and delivery of multiple overlapping Releases.
- Familiarity with Risk and Issue Management.
- Clear, concise oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal/customer service skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and deal with a changing environment.
The pay range for this position is $140,000 - $165,000 U.S. dollars annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, as well as where the work will be performed. The annual incentive target is 10% of base pay. Siemens Healthineers offers a variety of health and wellness benefits including paid time off and holiday pay.
