Social Media Coordinator

The Social Media Coordinator will assist in establishing CalChambers online presence and brand value by promoting the company and its products and services through the use of videos, photos, infographics, text, and posts on social media platforms with the primary focus on Advocacy.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for daily content creation across social media channels, strategically aligned with campaign and content calendars.
  • Produce social media posts, reels, graphics, and other assets in support of content priorities.
  • Oversee the daily operations and tracking of social media posts on all company platforms.
  • Monitor social media direct messages, feeds, and comments; respond or triage questions or comments as needed.
  • Produce monthly reports on social media engagement with analysis and recommendations.
  • Research and develop strategies to incorporate emerging social media tools, and new content platforms, into an overall multi-channel communications plan.

Skills

  • Possess strong visual, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of best practices for social media platforms such as Facebook, X, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Creative and outside the box thinker

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in communications or marketing

2-3 years' experience in social media.
