HCA TriStar Health is currently seeking a hospitalist to join our established group in the fall of 2020, located just outside Nashville, TN.Qualified Candidates:- Must be board eligible or board certified in internal medicine- Daytime shifts - we ask our physicians to work one nocturnist shift per month- Block schedule (7-on/7-off) accounting for 26 weeks per year- Average 20-25 patients per shift- Opportunity for additional nocturnist shift for additional pay, however, additional day shifts are not typically availableAbout TriStar Skyline Medical Center and Middle Tennessee Hospitalists:- TriStar Skyline Medical Center is a 233-bed hospital- Serves our community with over 67,000 annual ER visits- TriStar Skyline offers medical and surgical programs, including heart and vascular, oncology, orthopedics/spine and CARF accredited rehabilitation- As an ACS verified Level II Trauma Center and an accredited chest pain center with PCI, TriStar Skyline is a leading provider of emergency care- Oldest continuously running hospitalist program in Nashville over 20 years, physician owned and operated- Nurse assigned to each physician: interfaces with nursing, answers phone calls, responds to intra-hospital texts, scribes orders and notes- ICU technically opened, but functions as closed parent group of four PUD/CC for assist, separate codes team- Efficiently managed practice that utilizes EMR- Located seven miles north of downtownNashville is home to more than 1.8 million people, more than 40,000 businesses, and over 250 healthcare companies are headquartered in the Nashville region, making healthcare the industry.
