Our Opportunity:

Restaurant Brands International is looking for a Manager, Business Development to join our Burger King North America Franchising & Business Development Team based in Miami, FL. The Manager, Business Development supports the effort to grow the North American Burger King footprint through Development Agreements with new and existing partners. This includes sourcing new partners, building a bench of potential future partners and structuring and negotiating multi-year development agreements.

Role Responsibilities:

  1. Work closely with business unit leaders in developing and executing business development strategy for long-term growth of the Burger King brand.
  2. Attract the highest quality prospective franchisees, marketing the opportunity externally.
  3. Build and lead financial models, outputs and scenarios for diligence and deal structuring.
  4. Conduct due diligence on prospective candidates and partners, including in-person Discovery Days with prospective franchisees.
  5. Directly negotiate remodel and development agreements with prospective franchisees.
  6. Develop and deliver presentations both internally and externally to executive level leadership.

Role Qualifications:

  1. Undergraduate Bachelor’s degree.
  2. Years of experience: 3-5.
  3. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving and project management skills.
  4. Excel and financial modeling for diligence and deal negotiation.
  5. PowerPoint and presentation structuring.
  6. Ability to collaborate with different departments to collect a variety of data and structure pitch to potential franchisee partners.
  7. Honesty, high integrity, personal accountability and a passion for the success of the brand, the team, and personal career growth.
