The Music Department is looking for temporary assistance in the Music Library on evenings and Sundays. Hours are: M-Th, 5-9:30 PM and Sunday, 3-8 PM.
The primary responsibility will be to oversee the Music Library and Graves Hall while students study, complete homework assignments, and practice in the building. Students will be working with programs like Sibelius and Logic Pro: knowledge of these programs is helpful but not required. The evening librarian will also occasionally circulate library materials such as sheet music and books, and act as a liaison to the music office for students requiring assistance from daytime staff. Additional tasks may include supporting our performance ensembles by maintaining sheet music libraries, and photocopying and compiling score parts.
Please note this is a temporary position and will end when an Assistant Music Librarian is hired.
