YSI is seeking a highly qualified Senior Software Engineer. The selected candidate will be able to communicate effectively (written/verbal), possess strong interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, and be innovative in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develops and programs using Microsoft Visual Studio.NET, Visual Basic, Xcode, C++, Active Server Pages, JavaScript and other modern languages to facilitate implementation of desired system improvements and capabilities.
- Designs, implements, manages and upgrades all required database back ends for developed applications.
- Acts as the technical advisor for all contractor developed programs, infrastructure and applications.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Application Maintenance/Management, server Configuration Deployment Management Software/Database Development and Management, Development and Integration, data backup and recovery and for short-term loss of system hardware and software.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Visual Basic code libraries
- Windows Server 2008/2012 Administration
- Active Server Pages / ASPX Relational Database Design fundamentals
- COM/DCOM/COM+ SQL Server 2008/2012/2014 Administration
- VBScript Transact SQL
- JavaScript SQL Stored Procedure Development
- Dynamic HTML/ HTML Standard IIS 7 WEB Administration and Deployment
- Cascading Style Sheets use PKI / Web certificates/ CAC client software
- C# basic minimal
- Simple Mail Transfer Protocol knowledge
- USAF Requirement MS Security + certification SQL Server Backup and Restore Operations
- Active directory Domain use fundamentals Oracle DB knowledge minimal
Certifications:
- CompTIA Security+ or other IAT Level II Certification Required
- Active Secret Clearance
