UACS collaborates with partners to advance teaching, research, learning and service, as well as the civic development of their students.Job DescriptionThe Netter Center for Community Partnerships is currently seeking Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) Coaches to lead the coordination and implementation of SEL curriculum and activities for students enrolled in UACS after school programming. The position reports to the UACS site director at the program site. The position may also receive some technical assistance from other Program Directors.The specific responsibilities of UACS Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) Coach include:Design/develop SEL lessons using evidence-based SEL curriculumImplement SEL curriculum to students across all grade levels (K-8) in small and large groupsHelp site-based team members integrate SEL and trauma-informed strategies into after school enrichment activitiesSupport students one-on-one and in small groups based on needAttend training and professional development as requiredQualifications:High school degree required, plus at least 1-3 years of experience working with school-age children. Experience in K-8 urban educational settings is required. After school experience preferred. Strong candidates will have experience in facilitating successful youth development programs.
