The Digital Pathology Regional Sales Manager is responsible for growth and expansion of direct sales and profit margins within assigned accounts and/or territory/region on products or services. Establishes professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts and meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and margin dollars.

This position will be part of the Digital Pathology Sales and will be fully remote. You will be a part of the Digital Pathology Regional Sales - West and will effectively lead the growth of the Digital Pathology business for the respective region. The Digital Pathology Regional Sales Manager will execute strategies to drive growth and goals through self and the management of Digital Pathology Sales Specialists and Solution Architects through clear tactics, KPIs, and market knowledge.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  1. Achieve and exceed region’s quarterly and annual sales quota, strategic and unit sales mix objectives, profit goal, and market share goals.
  2. Provide direction, leadership, coaching, and mentoring for direct sales and solution architects representatives.
  3. Recruit, develop, and train sales associates with clearly communicated sales and overall performance standards.
  4. Forecast monthly revenue projections utilizing the company CRM (Salesforce.com).
  5. Drive standard work to funnel management process in CRM (Salesforce.com) and DPIP (Digital Pathology Implementation plan) process.
  6. Develop, solidify and maintain high-level relationships within key accounts in assigned geography.
  7. Work collaterally with each Sales Vertical, Applications team, and Business Unit to deploy solutions that capitalize on the Leica Biosystems’ value proposition.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  1. Minimum 5 years relevant capital sales experience.
  2. Contract negotiation/high level selling experience or selling in a matrixed environment.
  3. Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM and Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  1. Digital imaging sales experience to Pathologists and Laboratory Directors.
  2. Medical Diagnostics healthcare sales experience.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  1. 50% - 75% travel.
  2. Must possess a valid Driver’s license.
  3. Ability to travel overnight for territory coverage and/or for company meetings.

The salary range for this role is $140,000 - $170,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
