Job Title: Director of Engineering

Location: Atlanta, GA and surrounding area

Status: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Oversee Engineering Operations: Lead and manage all engineering activities related to production, maintenance, and facilities management to ensure efficient operations, safety compliance, and cost-effectiveness across the manufacturing plant.

• Develop and Implement Capital Projects: Plan, budget, and execute capital improvement projects aimed at optimizing production processes, enhancing equipment performance, and driving innovation in a Food & Beverage manufacturing environment.

• Ensure Regulatory Compliance and Safety Standards: Ensure all engineering processes, equipment installations, and maintenance activities meet Food & Beverage industry standards, including FDA, USDA, and other regulatory bodies, while enforcing strict safety protocols across the facility.

• Lead Cross-functional Teams and Collaboration: Work closely with production, quality assurance, R&D, and supply chain teams to enhance process efficiency, troubleshoot operational issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

• Manage Engineering Budgets and Resources: Develop and manage the engineering department's budget, including labor, materials, and capital expenditure, while maintaining a focus on cost-saving strategies and operational efficiency improvements.

Requirements

• 8+ years of Engineering leadership experience
• 25% travel as required
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field like Manufacturing, Chemical, or Engineering
• AutoCAD experience
