This is a remote position located anywhere within North America

Position Summary

The Regional Marketing Manager is responsible for the development of regional specific marketing strategies, initiatives and execution plans. This includes comprehensive marketing communications plans, sales promotion initiatives, materials, sales support tools, tradeshows, customer events, meetings, local advertising, presentations, and translations across channels including print, video and digital. Partners with global marketing team in the execution of global brand strategy and initiatives.

Essential Functions

  • Develop and implement marketing and commercial strategies across beef, dairy, swine, poultry and equine.
  • Design and execute multichannel campaigns for prospects and customers, ensuring consistent messaging for all channels.
  • Identify and quantify new product needs and develop sales, commercial and marketing launch plans as needed.
  • Represent the regional marketing team to cross-functional groups including global marketing, sales, leadership or customer support.
  • Manage and foster the relationship with the agency of record for all communications plans for the region.
  • Own content and updates for customers and internal stakeholders, manage budget guidelines, participate in events, document business processes, and provide sales support.
  • Creative briefs and facilitate creative direction to meet requirements for all advertising and public-facing communications, including print, digital, and video assets.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Required:

  • 7+ years’ experience as a marketing manager or related marketing experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, agriculture, marketing, or related field.
  • Familiar with a variety of regional marketing and animal nutrition concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Experience with new product development and deployment.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently within a team.
  • Proven written and oral communications and influencing skills.
  • Solid understanding of effective marketing strategies, materials, and channels.
  • Strong leadership, planning, and execution skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience with social media, email marketing and content marketing as consumer-driven tactics.
  • Experience with Salesforce and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Master’s degree in marketing, business, or related field.
  • Agriculture-related education and/or experience.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

This job operates in a professional corporate office environment or can be done remotely.

Schedule Requirements

This is a full-time position. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel Requirements

This position requires an estimated 40% travel, but it may be higher depending on business needs. Required travel is primarily within North America but will include occasional other international travel.
