Position Summary:

The AVP of Servicing Transfers will be responsible for managing Renovo Financials’ loan servicing Transfers Department, leading all service transfer functions and managing Loan Servicing Associates in the department. Data integrity and ingestion are paramount to the success of the group. The AVP of Servicing Transfers manages the following functions: transfer reviews, transfer coordination, transfer tape, transfer analysis, data analysis, quality analysis, and post-transfer reconciliation. Additional special loan maintenance and monitoring will be required. The AVP of Servicing Transfers will lead and manage a growing team of Loan Servicing Associates in managing and boarding all servicing transfers. This position works in collaboration with the SVP of Operations, Escrow, Quality, Documents, Default, and Payments departments. This position is exempt from overtime. In this role, you will report directly to the Senior Vice President of Operations at Renovo Financial.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively and effectively communicate with clients and internal business units
  • Plan and lead the work of Transfers Department staff and loan servicing team members
  • Establish department KPIs, hold self and staff accountable to achieve and build out on dashboards
  • Manage all inbound and outbound service transfers
  • Manage relationships with other servicers throughout the process
  • Theorize, develop, and implement process improvement including postmortem review with various stake holders
  • Validate data post board
  • Interview and train new Transfers Department staff and loan servicing team members
  • Work special projects when needed
  • Create and monitor exception reporting
  • Monitor and manage special loan actions required. Including but not limited to ARM maintenance, implementing modifications, and performing general loan maintenance
  • Perform weekly one on ones, mid-year reviews, and annual reviews of staff
  • Manage other duties as assigned

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule (this is preferred but for the right candidate remote may be available) by living in Chicago or the Chicagoland area
  • Ability to multi-task while maintaining high attention to detail
  • Manage daily tasks and prioritize workload independently in a high email volume environment
  • Ability to interface with all levels of the organization from line level staff to senior management
  • Team-player who will work to find solutions
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • 5+ years’ experience in loan servicing is required, preferably in a service transfer role

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel & PowerPoint is required, experience with Salesforce is a plus
