The Director, Sales Excellence Media Solutions position will act as a key partner to the VP of Sales, Sales Leadership, and cross-functional partners in driving excellence in the global Sales teams' operations. This role will involve creating and executing the revenue operations strategy and roadmap, enabling the achievement of the Sales teams' performance objectives.
What You'll Do:
- Manage and continuously improve account segmentation, coverage models, and territory alignment.
- Manage the run-the-business needs of the sales teams - quota setting, forecasting, pipeline management.
- Own the clear communication between various teams and regions to Sales leadership regarding performance against targets.
- Assist Sales leadership in developing territory and industry vertical specific sales plans.
- Support Sales leadership in developing and executing market strategies and programs.
- Review and analyze the effectiveness of sales incentives against the organization’s strategy.
- Drive execution and operationalization of central programs and initiatives.
- Identify and drive timely resolution of reporting issues and areas of opportunity.
- Leverage sales analyses to customize sales techniques.
- Define the key sales support systems/processes required to meet business growth objectives.
- Assist Sales leadership in evaluating their teams’ performance.
- Prepare ad hoc analysis & participate in projects as needed.
Who You Are:
- Minimum 10+ years in a Sales Excellence, Sales Operations, Business Operations or Revenue Operations role.
- Experience in advanced segmentation, coverage models, and sales incentive compensation plans.
- Advanced Microsoft Office, Excel, and Salesforce skills.
- Ability to design and enhance complex business and financial models.
- Experience leading large scale business transformation programs.
- Demonstrated ability to lead through influence within a cross-functional environment.
- Experience building and executing market strategies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to succeed in both collaborative and independent work environments.
