Progressive healthcare company located in the San Fernando Valley is seeking to hire a full-time employee in the position of IT Project Manager for EMR (Electronic Medical Records) applications . This is a hybrid work role, 3 days on-site, and then work from home. You must live within commuting distance of the San Fernando Valley.
You will join a great team of Healthcare IT professionals as a Project Manager over multiple large-scale cross-functional IT projects that will manage multiple implementations of NextGen EMR and Practice Management software throughout the organization.
You will serve as a project leader for large-scale projects, including:
- Project identification
- Creating plans
- Building work teams
- Facilitating meetings
- Consensus building
- Performing detailed analysis of data, workflows, policies, procedures, staff organization, and skills to execute initiatives and validate improvement opportunities
Your job ends with implementation, as others manage post-implementation support and maintenance.
To qualify for this great healthcare Project Manager opportunity, you must have:
- At least 7+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager
- At least 5+ years of experience in installing and implementing multiple EMR software releases
- Experience with NextGen EMR and PM Practice Management would be a plus
You should also have strong leadership, critical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills, as well as proficiency with systems and a variety of software applications.
