Job Description:
Dominion Financial Services (DFS) is a mortgage originator for single family real estate. DFS originates two main loan products – a short term bridge loan for fix & flip investors, and a long-term rental loan for landlords growing their rental portfolios. DFS is thriving in the current competitive environment and shows aggressive quarterly growth. Our current origination volume is $70MM per month. DFS is looking for a detail-oriented Chief Credit Officer to join our growing team.

Responsibilities:
  1. Act as loan committee to provide approvals / modifications on new originations, extensions and workouts for loans held on balance sheet
  2. Business development for DFS’s Lender Finance business
  3. Design & maintain DFS’s risk management and compliance policies & procedures
  4. Manage classified assets throughout the loss mitigation process
  5. Monitor covenants in capital market loan documents & MLPAs to maintain compliance
Requirements
  1. Strong familiarity with the business purpose lending space
  2. Direct construction management & real estate valuation experience
  3. 10yrs+ of residential real estate investment experience
  4. 10yrs+ of experience managing teams
  5. 5yrs+ of legal experience on an institutional capital markets context
Preferred Qualifications
  1. 1-4 unit residential development experience a plus
  2. Experience working with Salesforce a plus
