Job Summary

The Finance Lead role will lead the financial guidance, direction, and analytical support for the Apparel & Licensing and Parts & Accessories businesses. The role will partner closely with the A&L and P&A global product teams and the North America Commercial teams. This Finance Lead will also partner with operational stakeholders to deliver results and meet planned objectives. This position provides comprehensive financial support for assigned departments including monthly performance reports, financial analysis, revenue, margin and expense variance review, and recommendations for corrective actions when needed.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and analytical excellence in complex and cross-functional projects, actively partnering with, engaging and influencing across all levels of global finance and operational leadership.
  • Drive coordination, alignment, financial analysis, and process improvements to achieve short- and long-term business objectives between the A&L & PA global product teams and NA commercial teams.
  • Lead the development of and assist with regional and global consolidation in the preparation of all annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and monthly variance analysis.
  • Active member of NA Commercial SD&I process and attend meetings to prepare content, ensure alignment with Finance, understand Revenue and Margin impact.
  • Lead developments and support of materials for executive level reporting, such as global business review and NA regional review board.
  • Lead long-term financial planning for the A&L and P&A businesses.
  • Provide financial analysis and support in areas such as global pricing and new product development to ensure achievement of margin improvement targets.
  • Provide monthly financial support to the business: such as recording month-end journal entries/accruals, preparation of reconciliations and audit materials.
  • Ensure all accounting complies with GAAP and that financial systems and controls are established as appropriate.
  • Train co-workers throughout areas of responsibility and provide necessary guidance and direction.
  • Demonstrate consistent effective leadership acting as an advocate for new ideas and serving as an example for co-workers.

Bachelor's Degree Required

Education Specifications

  • This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A CPA or equivalent is desired.

Experience Requirements

Required

  • Minimum of 5 years related work experience.
  • Competency in the use of spreadsheets and accounting systems for the purpose of analysis and financial modeling.
  • Progressive responsibility in finance, providing financial planning & analysis, and project management.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and the demonstrated ability and desire to influence and drive results.
  • Ability to synthesize complex data/information into actionable insights.
  • Proven record of partnering with cross-functional teams in driving results.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and skills necessary to communicate with all levels of management.
  • Self-motivated and a self-starter continuously looking for process improvements.
  • Strong attention to detail while maintaining the broader, analytical perspective.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks under time constraints.

Preferred

  • SAP experience a plus.
