You will be the Training Systems Architect Principal for the F-35 Training Systems team.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Training Systems Architecture lead, you will establish the technical roadmap and execution plan for multiple Training Solutions through partnering with internal and external stakeholders.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading an engineering team, including sub-contractors and other LM business areas, to design and develop solutions for the F-35 Training Systems. The F-35 Training Systems includes both air and ground-based training solutions.
- Guiding the architecture team, as the technical authority, to generate, design, and develop system architectures and designs for the training systems.
- Supporting the development of a technical roadmap to modernize Training Solutions, aligning with the LM Aero Digital Transformation solutions, partnering across multiple functional areas to drive common solutions, and engaging regularly with external customers.
- Ensuring the Training Systems Architecture team meets cost, schedule, and technical program performance metrics.
- Travel is expected in this position (<=25%).
Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering/technical discipline from an accredited college.
- Experience collaborating with internal/external customers.
- Experience in developing and executing technical plans/roadmaps.
- SECRET security clearance.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with F-35 Training Airborne or Ground Based Training Systems.
- Experience Leading Virtual/Distributed Teams.
- Experience with DevSecOps and Transformation Initiatives (Cloud computing, virtualization).
- Technical Subcontractor Management Experience.
- Proposal Development including BOEs, BOE Reviews, and Statement of Work Generation.
- Technical Leadership/Project Leadership Experience.
- Current F-35 Program Clearances.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five-day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
