Town Hall—a high-growth agency providing digital marketing services to nonprofit and higher education clients–seeks a Paid Search Manager to support the Paid Search Supervisor in managing multi-million dollar search campaigns for higher education accounts. This role will report to the Paid Search Supervisor and be responsible for planning, optimizations, and reporting across several accounts. The selected candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, experience contributing to discussion in client-facing meetings, and knowledge of data analysis in Google Analytics 4.

What You’ll Do

The Paid Search Manager will collaborate daily with the paid Search Supervisor, Media Planners, and Account Managers to ensure we are delivering efficient, effective campaign results. The Paid Search Manager will provide regular reporting including comprehensive data and charts coupled with actionable insights and recommendations for campaign improvement to reach the clients’ business goals.

Our office is located in midtown Manhattan and we are currently working in-office three days per week.

Sample Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of search strategies based on client goals and objectives
  • Manage performance campaigns, including lead generation and Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) for Higher Ed & Non-Profit clients 
  • Create & optimize paid search media plans according to performance 
  • Develop search account structures, campaigns, keywords, ad copy, ad extensions, etc.
  • Perform in-depth campaign reporting and analysis based on KPIs and historical trends
  • Extract data-driven, actionable insights to inform search strategy and planning; flag tagging/tracking issues by calling out anomalies in data
  • Recommend testing strategies and optimizations to improve overall campaign performance
  • Present strategies and recommendations to clients and internal teams in relatable terms
  • Develop accurate projections for performance using data analysis
  • Keep on top of media industry trends and make recommendations for client testing within buying channels, e.g. new ad networks, creative formats, bidding strategies, etc. 
  • Maintain knowledge of clients business, competition, and latest industry news and trends

Requirements

  • At least 2 years’ experience managing paid search campaigns in Search Ads 360, Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and other search platforms
  • Demonstrated competency with data analysis in Google Analytics 4
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets/Microsoft Excel, specifically for forecasting and trend analysis using pivot tables, vlookups, data visualizations, etc.
  • Experience presenting media strategies and reports to clients
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Willingness to collaborate across departments and client teams
