About the job International Tax Manager (Hybrid)
Northwest Talent Solutions is partnering with a leading advisory, tax and assurance firm in search of a highly talented International Tax Manager specializing in Private Wealth . This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a growing International Tax practice within a fast-growing CPA advisory firm.
Job Summary:
As an International Tax Manager focusing on Private Wealth, you will provide compliance and consulting services to high-net-worth individuals, multi-generational affluent families, family offices, and their private businesses and investment entities. You will be part of a borderless team of professionals across the U.S. and globally, addressing pressing issues for international clients and advising on U.S.-based and local country matters.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Review complex individual, partnership, S-corp, trust, estate, gift, and state tax returns
  • Analyze international holdings for disclosure purposes and assist clients with planning around foreign assets and minimizing global taxation
  • Work on multiple engagements delivering proactive tax planning and strategic consulting, including inbound planning, expatriation & exit tax planning, and asset structuring
  • Manage, supervise, train, and lead staff through counsel, guidance, and coaching
  • Develop and expand compliance and planning tools to support tax services for international taxpayers
  • Contribute to practice development through thought leadership and identifying service opportunities
  • Participate in recruiting activities and networking events
Qualifications:
I. Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent required
  • CPA, JD, or EA certification required
II. Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in a professional services firm providing tax services to high net worth individuals and their closely held businesses
  • 1+ years of supervisory experience
  • Prior experience with international tax compliance and planning
III. License(s)/Certification(s):
  • CPA, JD, or EA certification required
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Proven ability to analyze foreign information sources and apply judgment in reaching defensible conclusions
  • Strong interest in developing a career working with global taxpayers
  • Excellent time management and project management skills
  • Strong tax research and professional writing skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Suite skills (Word, Excel)
  • Demonstrated management, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
