Purpose of this role:
Lead and oversee sales initiatives for a well-established homebuilding company, ensuring sales targets are met, managing a high-performing sales team, and driving customer satisfaction.
THE OPPORTUNITY:
As a Sales Director , you will lead sales efforts across the Poconos region, managing a team of sales professionals and sales support staff. You’ll be responsible for achieving and exceeding sales goals, maintaining excellent customer relationships, and collaborating with other key departments to ensure smooth project execution.
The ideal candidate will bring over 10 years of proven success in sales leadership, with a strong background in the homebuilding or real estate industry. You are a strategic thinker with excellent negotiation skills and a deep understanding of sales processes, marketing strategies, and construction.

As a Sales Director, you will:
- Lead sales initiatives across the region, ensuring sales targets are met and exceeded.
- Manage the Sales team, including hiring, training, motivating, and offering closing support.
- Oversee sales support staff to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer service.
- Serve as the face of the company, ensuring a seamless customer experience from sales to closing.
- Communicate with lenders and title companies to facilitate financing and closings, while enforcing contracts.
- Collaborate with key managers to align on project timelines, pricing strategies, and customer expectations.
- Lead and mentor a team of Administrative Assistants and Sales Representatives, optimizing performance and supporting growth.
- Oversee marketing activities and collaborate with internal teams to maintain cohesive branding and messaging.
YOU ARE/HAVE:
- Demonstrated success in a sales leadership role, preferably in the homebuilding or residential real estate industry (required)
- Real Estate License (required)
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a sales team
- Strong persuasive sales skills with a proven ability to close deals
- Excellent negotiation, mediation, and conflict resolution skills
- Solid understanding of marketing and the ability to manage and enhance current strategies
- Strong knowledge of the construction process and mortgage lending
- Excellent communication, analytical, and time management skills
- Ability to collaborate across departments and manage multiple stakeholders effectively
- Live within a commutable distance of the office in East Stroudsburg, PA
