This position is responsible for assisting the Anesthesiologist in all departments and with all anesthesia procedures, including expediting patient flow through the perioperative area, maintaining patient safety, and developing and maintaining external (patient, surgeon) and internal (Anesthesiologist, staff) customer satisfaction. Responsible for set up, operation, and some maintenance of specialized equipment, including life support.

Required Qualifications:
- Coursework/Training - Secondary education in a medical or science-based discipline.
- Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification within 90 days of hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Coursework/Training - Graduate of an accredited program i.e. EMT, Paramedic, RT, or Anesthesia Technology (AT) program.
- ACLS Provider - American Heart Association upon hire.
- PALS Provider - American Heart Association upon hire.
- Anesthesia Technician certification (ASATT) upon hire.
- 1 year - Experience working in a similar capacity in an Anesthesia Department in a tertiary healthcare facility.
