Job Summary

Partners with business teams to design and implement moderately complex data-centric and value-added systems and solutions that enable business outcomes. Projects are of moderate complexity. Performs work independently or with minimal guidance, depending on task complexity.

What You'll Do
  • Develops moderately complex value-based analytics solutions for quality, business process functionality, or other strategic/data/analytic initiatives of moderate complexity.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify and establish analytics requirements.
  • Creates detailed documentation and business plans that address stakeholder needs.
  • Liaises between IT and Product Management for data solutions.
  • Develops and implements moderately complex enterprise-wide data integration strategies that utilize various data-marts and data warehouse applications to enhance reporting.
  • Continuously works to improve data platforms, dashboards, and reports to meet emerging and changing business demands and guidelines.
  • Consults with limited guidance from Principal on UAT, technical specifications, strategic planning, contract design, technical support, testing updates, and trainings.
  • Uses intermediate understanding of data elements, structures, standards typically involved in financial services transactions, reporting, and cloud-based data storage/sharing to adopt and apply standards in a way that satisfies and balances regulatory and compliance requirements with business needs.
  • Manages data from multiple sources and uses project management skills to complete moderately complex projects with minimal coaching and guidance.
  • Transmits data and proactively works to ensure data quality. Troubleshoots data issues and devises creative and effective ways to avoid or mitigate issues.

What You'll Bring
  • 3-5 years of related experience required.
  • 3+ years of proven experience in an analytics and systems development capacity, preferred.
  • High proficiency with SQL language and database management, preferred.
  • Practical experience generating process documentation and reports, preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to listen, understand and present information in a clear and concise manner to various technical, business stakeholder, and mid-level leadership audiences, preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise data management concepts & processes, preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of Master Data Management, Data Analysis, and Data Modeling, preferred.
  • MDM experience in Customer (Parties) MDM SME, preferred.
  • Experience in insurance or financial services industry, preferred.

Education You'll Need
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

Physical Actions

Listens to, interprets, and differentiates auditory information (example others speaking) at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Visually verifies and reads information. Visually locates material, resources and other objects. Ability to continuously operate a computer for extended periods of time, up to a full work shift. Physical dexterity sufficient to use hands, arms, and shoulders repetitively to operate keyboard and other office equipment up to a full work shift.
