OverviewClinical Educator, LPNNashua Ambulatory ClinicsFull-time DaysPlans, directs, coordinates, and evaluates strategies to ensure proper onboarding, competencies, and professional development of Licensed Nursing Assistants (LNAs) in collaboration with the Manager of Nursing Education.ResponsibilitiesDesigns and develops centralized orientation program for new hire LNAsFacilitate onboarding and orientation of new unit based LNA hiresCoordinate ongoing training, mentorship, and opportunities for LNAsContinuously monitors and supports continuous process improvements for the onboarding and orientation processes and recommends and implements improvements as approved where necessary.Facilitates ongoing educational initiatives including nursing orientation, preceptor education and other unit level and organizational learning initiatives.Collates feedback from unit-based leadership team to identify areas for enhancement.Ensure that each LNA is connected to resources needed to find resolutions and implement best education practices.Maintains, coordinates and schedules nurse educators, instructors, and subject matter experts to lead ongoing classes for their assigned programs.Builds and maintains positive relationships with the nursing community, stakeholders, and other healthcare organizations to promote awareness, collaboration, and support for the education department's mission and initiatives.Performs needs assessment, develops, designs, implements, and evaluates evidence based educational materials utilizing principles of instructional design for adult learners.Performs other duties as required or assigned.QualificationsGraduate from an accredited LPN Program required.2 years of education or professional development preferred.3 years of clinical experience in identi?ed specialty.Excellent informatics, verbal and written communications skills desiredExcellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and concisely verbally and in writing with individuals and groups at various levels and disciplines.Demonstrated ability to identify and solve problems.Experience analyzing and organizing data to be reported in multiple formats and for multiple audiences.Required Licensure/CertificationsLicensed Practical Nurse with NH eligibilityBasic Life Support certification.Area of Interest:Nursing;FTE/Hours per pay period:1.00 - 1.00 - 40 hrs/week;Shift:Day;Job ID:26338;Dartmouth Health is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.
