Job Description:

    • Coordinate, conduct, and complete RCRA inspections
    • Coordinate, conduct, and complete RCRA sampling and monitoring activites to include all media
    • Develop Sampling and Analysis Plans (SAPs) and Quality Assurance Project Plans (QAPPs)
    • Evaluate remedial technologies for a site and develop Analysis of Brownfields Cleanup Alternatives (ABCAs)
    • Manage multiple projects and small project teams simultaneously
    • Train and mentor less experienced staff
    • Collaborate and communicate effectively with multiple clients and internal stakeholders
Qualifications and Skills:
    • BS or MS degree, preferably in Chemical or Environmental Engineering or Geology
    • Knowledge of RCRA environmental laws and regulations Strong knowledge and application of environmental sampling techniques
    • Proficiency in Excel and Word
    • Strong writing and communication skills and the ability to present project findings to different stakeholders, both orally and in writing
    • Strong time management skills and the ability to work on multiple projects and meet tight deadlines, while providing quality client-ready deliverables
    • Evaluating RCRA compliance issues at complex facilities
    • Evaluating different remedial technologies and determining their applicability for a site
    • Project management
    • 40-hour HAZWOPER Certified
    • The ability to pass a pulmonary function or spirometry breathing test and a fit test to wear an air purifying respirator (APR)
    • Be able to carry 25 pounds, climb ladders, and work on elevated platforms

$80,000 - $130,000 a year
ERG offers competitive salaries and excellent benefits, including health and dental insurance, life insurance, long-term disability, educational benefits, FSAs, a generous 401k plan, profit sharing, an EAP, 11-20 paid vacation days per year, 10 paid holidays per year, 56 hours or more of sick leave (based on the state you work in) per year (pro-rated for part-time) and more. The salary range for all positions depends on the years and type of experience.
