The Director of Market Access will elevate market access to a strategic level in the organization, ensuring patient access to therapies. This leader will drive execution of Market Access strategies and activities which differentiate and demonstrate the patient-centered value to payers, physicians, and patients.
Responsibilities:
- Hire, lead, coach and develop the National and Regional Account team members focusing on Commercial and Managed Care Payers, Trade Accounts, IDNs, and Group Purchasing Organizations.
- Work with cross-functional partners to support and direct the team.
- Manage GPO relationships and contract negotiations.
Requirements:
- BS/BA Degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ Years of experience in Commercial Biotech or Pharmaceuticals.
- Market Access expertise with an emphasis on market access strategy and pricing required.
- Experience across a range of therapeutics areas, markets, and channels; Cardiology Experience Preferred.
- Experience leading a team of senior direct reports.
- Extensive knowledge of payer and health systems, specifically with large academic health systems, IDNs, and GPOs.
- Ability to travel ~ 50%, including international.
