RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Records and processes transactions with accuracy and speed. Verifies cash drawer, maintains and safeguards own cash balances within security guidelines. Provides a variety of customer service functions, such as processing savings, checking accounts and loan transactions; opening new accounts, etc. Answers phones and responds to customer questions, takes messages. Possesses the ability to cash checks or process withdrawals within authority limits, and to ensure that the customer has the right to the funds. Performs related clerical tasks in an accurate and timely manner. Rotates among lobby teller windows, drive-up, and ATM duties. Complies with Government regulations and BSA. May be required to work in other branch locations as needed. Assists with any other duties as directed or required by Supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS: Excellent communication skills. Ability to maintain positive relationships with others. Ability to perform under pressure, and adapt to changing and possibly stressful environment. Ability to identify, assist with and resolve routine problems that are within a teller's knowledge. Good math skills and experience with calculator and computer essential.
