Job Requirements / Description

Location: Ukraine (Remote)

Your expertise:

  1. Strong technical background with at least one of the following languages: JavaScript / Go / Java / PHP / Python
  2. Good understanding of SQL / No-SQL databases, Message Brokers, and their principles
  3. Distributed systems understanding, principles & patterns
  4. Strong knowledge of Linux (provisioning, bash scripting, patching)
  5. Understanding Logging, Monitoring, Alerting
  6. Network fundamentals
  7. Proficient experience in Docker
  8. Production experience with one of the container orchestration systems, like Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, AWS ECS, etc.
  9. Mastery of AWS services and cloud architecture
  10. Familiarity with infrastructure as a code concept. Good knowledge of terraform is required
  11. Proficient experience in CI / CD configuration (Jenkins is preferred)
  12. Understanding of Unit / Integration testing. Be ready to integrate automated quality in usual development flow
  13. Proficient understanding of Git
  14. Understanding security basics (cryptography algorithms, authentication & authorization protocols, application security)
  15. Written English (read & write)
  16. Robust communication and instructional capabilities
  17. Ability to function both autonomously and collaboratively within a team

Will definitely be a plus:

  1. HashiCorp products experience such as Vault / Packer / Terraform CDK
  2. Dealing with security vulnerabilities in common operating systems, web, and applications, including knowledge of remediation procedures
  3. Practical experience with tools / services for Security in Cloud
  4. Understanding of the OWASP top 10
  5. Experience in writing technical documentation and planning
  6. Understanding fundamental principles of the Scrum / Kanban process

You will be involved into:

  1. You will be working closely with our DevOps, Architect, SRE, DBA, and Product development teams
  2. Implement, manage, and maintain software solutions, CI / CD configurations, AWS services, terraform modules, etc.
  3. Develop & implement a set of security standards and practices. Analyze & remediate security findings
  4. Engage in continuous learning about emerging technologies
