Job Title: Lead Merchandiser

Job Description:

• We are looking for a consumerist with an affinity for product who enjoys the energy of moving at the pace of retail and our consumer.
• As a Merchant II, you will enable the strategizing, building, and managing of global 3-year line plans and product journeys cross-functionally.
• A consistent part of your day-to-day responsibilities will be the detailed management, maintenance and communication of all seasonal tools and assortments. Enabling this effort will be the development of key relationships among cross-functional teammates, comfort with research and analysis, along with a genuine curiosity and commitment to learn and evolve.
• Beaverton WHQ - Mon-Thursday in Office, Friday WFH - Must be local
• 5+ years’ experience in merchandising, product creation, and or retail, in a vertical or wholesale environment.
• Footwear, apparel and/or equipment merchandising experience
• Understanding of retail key performance indicators and profit based metrics
• Strong strategy building skills that shape the future of the business
• Effective communicator that collaborates and brings people together

Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Footwear, apparel and/or equipment merchandising experience
• This role is with Women's Global running apparel - Experience in women's is a must.
• Will be working with footwear teams so some crossover is nice but bulk of experience needs to come from apparel.
• Previous Nike experience nice to have but women's apparel experience in other sportswear companies also nice to have.
