Position Summary

As a part of Walmart Connect Sponsored Products team, you'll build industry defining omni-channel ad platforms and high performing campaigns that enable Walmart suppliers to reach shoppers with relevant ads, thus enhancing their shopping journey.

We're looking for a Staff Product Manager for our Sponsored Search Ads Platform to help reimagine the way we empower advertisers to reach and convert their customers with Sponsored Search ads.

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in building an end-to-end Sponsored Search ad stack designed to support the needs of the world's largest brands as well as a thriving marketplace of sellers by helping shoppers discover, research and buy across Walmart properties.

You'll Make An Impact By:

  • Driving product lifecycle from requirements definition, research, metrics analysis, technical specifications, development, testing, KPIs and other launch efforts.
  • Working with engineering and data science to define product features and measurement methodologies, data requirements, APIs and UX.
  • Conducting industry and competitive analysis to understand the emerging trends in advertising industry to identify new opportunities.
  • Conducting customer research to define customer segments and identify needs to inform product roadmap.
  • Partnering with internal advertising sales teams to create unique, compelling experiences that benefit shoppers and our advertising clients.
  • Developing and enhancing products - you will manage product roadmaps, align business and technical needs, analyze customer and product data, turn customer insights into actionable initiatives, determine rollout strategy, and manage risks.
  • Defining vision and strategies for your product family, using domain expertise, internal and external best practices, identifying market opportunities, building business cases, and approving objectives.
  • Building collaborative relationships with key partners by driving priorities aligned to business goals, communicating and prioritizing product roadmaps, and gaining buy-in from executive leadership.
  • Providing overall direction by analyzing business objectives and customer needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required. An MBA or Master's degree is preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in product management, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in digital advertising or performance marketing.
  • 2+ years in product management, end-to-end product delivery, customer experiences, automation, data analytics.
  • Sound business judgment as well as ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, scope technical requirements and prioritize.
  • Must be able and willing to think and act both strategically and tactically.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial, proven ability to influence others internally and externally.

Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 6 years' experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products. We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
