We are a 3 year running Top Workplace in the Greater St. Louis area.Job SummaryJob ResponsibilitiesProvide scheduling and planning for major and/or strategic programs as assignedProvide analysis and project support to assigned program workload. Analysis includes reviewing scope and schedule performanceDevelop schedules that include project phasing, project milestones, and represent critical relationships between program tasks as required to plan, coordinate, and visualize all significant program activitiesMay manage a small team of Program AnalystsAnalyze trends, develop reports, facilitate communication and provide feedback on program performanceSupport the Program Manger in the creation of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and lead in the development of schedules (including resource loading) for identified WBS elementsWork with Project Manager, and Program Finance to develop ETCs, EACs and Variance ReportsWorks with management team to ensure the schedule/program plan is executable (cost, schedule and technical requirements are fully integrated) and executing as plannedPerform Critical Path Analysis and report results to Project TeamProvide weekly /monthly project status updates including Earned Value Performance as appropriateAnalyze Earned Value monthly data Schedule Variance (SV,SPI)Work with Project Team to develop Recovery PlansPerform Risk Analysis and Risk Planning on the schedule when necessary. Additionally, assist in identifying and recommending mitigation strategies for project schedule risksParticipate in Program Proposal process with Business Development teamReview all subcontractor and vendor change requests and advises Project Managers of any schedule impact of proposed design changesAssemble and compile schedule data and inputs same into the project schedule and provide output to the project managerAdvise management of risks that may affect project profit, costs, and schedulesMust understand the various contract types, i.e. cost plus, T&M, FFP and ensure that all requirements of the prime contract are understoodSupport, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organizationJob Responsibilities Part IIQualificationsBachelor’s degree in related discipline with a minimum of 8 years of Program Planning & Scheduling utilizing Microsoft Projector equivalentDemonstrated knowledge of the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) or similar business processSuccessful track record as part of a Project Management TeamExperience with Earned Value Management System (EV/ EVMS)Experienced in Schedule Analysis.Familiarity with PMI and related Project Management and Scheduling best practicesExpert knowledge of Microsoft Project desiredDemonstrated experience in using MS Office suite products (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)Strong oral and written communications skillsTaking care of our people is a top priority at Leonardo DRS.
