Brasfield & Gorrie is searching for a talented and motivated Marketing Manager to support our growing Dallas office. This position is primarily responsible for managing all marketing processes and producing deliverables and presentations for the Dallas office.
What you will be doing:
- Assisting the team with winning new business by supporting and organizing the proposal development process
- Developing, writing, editing, and proofreading proposals, presentations, project descriptions, staff resumes, and marketing collateral
- Applying creativity and strategic insight while leading brainstorming, storyboarding, and other strategy development sessions
- Updating information in project descriptions/resumes/proposals/qualifications in Salesforce
- Preparing teams for presentations and client interviews
- Identifying and tracking opportunities and organizing the flow of work for regional pursuits
- Overseeing marketing production staff of one
- Identify, recommend, and implement technical and creative process improvements
- Seek out opportunities to be on a corporate working group and contribute time and ideas
- Work with Regional Operations and Business Development to support marketing strategy, including client meetings, tradeshows, special events
- Partner with Corporate Communications on public relations events and/or milestones involving designated divisions or market sector, provide them with background information, and assist with approval process with project teams and clients
- Represent the company at industry events during and after hours
- Lead office or division events – United Way, town hall, BBQ, golf tournament, community event
- Remain current with competitor intelligence by reviewing competitor proposals when possible, attending trade shows, reviewing websites, and reading trade publications such as ENR
- Hold a committee position on local SMPS chapter board, industry-related organization or non-profit organization

Education - Skills - Knowledge - Qualifications & Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field required
· 6-10 years of prior marketing experience in the AEC industry or relevant experience in similar field with 1-2 years of management experience preferred
· High proficiency in desktop publishing, presentation and other marketing related software, including Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, Prezi, and OpenAsset
· Skilled in writing, proofreading and editing
· Excellent presentation and public speaking skills
· Excellent time management, organization and teamwork skills
· Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure with ability to multitask and meet aggressive deadlines
· Understanding of the time sensitive nature of marketing events, proposals and interviews
· Displays commitment to support overall efforts of the marketing group with the expectation that additional hours may be required
· Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality
· Displays respect in working with others and ability to create trusting relationships
· Excellent presentation skills
· Experience with leading and mentoring others
Working Conditions:
· Local and out-of-town travel may be required
· Approximately 5% travel required
