Role: Project Management Director
Salary: 80k to 120k with Benefits
Location: Wilmington, NC (Onsite)
Client Notes: This candidate would require excellent customer service skills working as a client liaison for each project, being an excellent team leader in managing each project and the team working with it, and also having experience working in our field.
Though we would prefer a licensed civil engineer, a manager with previous experience in development, construction, etc. would be a great fit also. Familiarization with our software would be helpful, but not required for the project manager. For the civil engineer, the candidate would require AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Hydraflow Storm Sewer, Hydrograph, and WaterCAD would also be beneficial.
Job Description: We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team. Responsibilities will include managing administrative tasks related to projects, including project team assignment and scheduling. An in-depth background, understanding, and ability to design and permit construction plans for site layout, grading, drainage, erosion control, stormwater treatment and conveyance, water and sewer, roadway, pump station, and force main design is required.
This individual will communicate directly with clients weekly and provide detailed project updates. The applicant must be able to communicate and coordinate technical evaluations and designs, produce reports in technical writing format, and correspond with other team members to complete work promptly and efficiently. Must have the ability to coordinate project submittals, facilitate regulatory agency approvals, and obtain construction permits.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or Equivalent Experience Required.
- Professional Engineering License.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office required.
- Hydraflow Storm Sewer, Hydrograph, and WaterCAD preferred.
- Must have strong communication and writing skills.
- Experience with the Design of Land development projects preferred.
