As a Retro HVAC Installer at R&R Heating, you will be pivotal in executing our mission to provide top-notch, innovative HVAC solutions to our clients. This position involves assessing, installing, and maintaining HVAC systems, focusing on retrofitting modern systems into existing residential and commercial properties. Ideal candidates will possess a blend of technical HVAC knowledge, a passion for problem-solving, and a commitment to delivering unparalleled customer service.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct on-site inspections and assessments to determine the best HVAC solutions for retrofitting into existing structures.
- Install HVAC systems, ensuring compatibility with existing infrastructure and adherence to the latest energy efficiency standards.
- Provide detailed explanations and demonstrations to clients on system operations, maintenance requirements, and energy-saving tips.
- Work closely with the project management team to ensure the timely completion of projects and to resolve any installation or retrofit challenges.
- Stay updated on the latest HVAC technologies and retrofitting techniques to provide innovative solutions to our clients.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during installation and maintenance activities.

Minimum Requirements:
- Proven experience as an HVAC installer with specific expertise in retrofitting systems is preferred.
- A relevant technical degree or certification in HVAC technology is highly desirable.
- Gas Mech 1 license, Wa Elec Trainee card, EPA.
- Strong understanding of current HVAC systems, tools, and best practices, with a keen interest in energy efficiency and sustainability.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability to unique architectural and structural challenges.
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain complex HVAC concepts in simple terms.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
