Position Summary: This position is responsible for the TRID and Consumer lending functions of the bank. Other responsibilities include working with clients to explain the process and answer questions during the lending process. This position also represents the bank in the community through attendance and participation in community events. Main Duties and Responsibilities: ? Takes applications for installment loans and lines of credit; then process applications, approves loans (within approval limits), processes notes and dispenses proceeds. Process rejection procedure when an applicant is declined. ? Be able to professionally handle complaints and objections. ? Identify and offer or refer cross-selling opportunities and seek additional sales opportunities inside and outside the bank. ? Remain current on all policy, regulatory and procedural changes. ? Work to establish rapport with customer in order to become their primary financial consultant and assist customers in reaching their financial goals. ? Remain knowledgeable of all bank products and services and be able to communicate to customers about features and benefits. Be aware of competition and be prepared to compare bank products and services with competitors. ? Assist management in whatever duties he/she deems necessary for the bank to perform most efficiently. ? Participate in training and cross training employees. ? Promote and strive for quality customer service within the Market. ? Complies with all bank and personnel policies and procedures including but not limited to policies and procedures regarding the Bank Secrecy Act. ? Complete periodic training provided and/or required by Planters First Bank but not limited to BSA training within required time frames assigned. ? Other duties as assigned. Job Education and Experience: ? High School diploma or equivalent ? Public communications experience ? Customer service experience preferred ? Relevant computer skills Job Competencies: ?
