Network Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Network Engineer to maintain and optimize our network infrastructure, data center operations, and provide remote troubleshooting support for 3 sites from Pataskala, OH (Data Center) to Frazeysburg, OH (Other 2 facilities). This role is responsible for managing and maintaining both physical and virtual environments, addressing performance issues, ensuring network stability during outages, and providing support across various network and software systems such as VMware, M365, and Active Directory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Network and Data Center Maintenance:
• Monitor and maintain network performance across all hardware and software systems.
• Perform regular health checks on the network environment to identify and address potential issues before they impact operations.
• Manage remote break/fix tasks, ensuring minimal downtime and rapid resolution of issues.
• Virtual Environment Management (VMware/vSphere):
• Administer and manage virtual environments using VMware and vSphere platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve host performance issues, ensuring stable and efficient operation of virtualized systems.
• Power Outage Assistance:
• Provide support during power outages, ensuring business continuity and system recovery.
• Collaborate with the facilities team to ensure all backup systems are functional and properly configured.
• Replicated Data Management:
• Ensure data replication processes are functioning correctly and provide assistance in resolving any issues related to data replication.
• Microsoft 365 (M365) Support:
• Provide expert assistance with M365 applications, resolving issues related to email, collaboration tools, and cloud-based services.
• Active Directory (AD) Support:
• Assist with Active Directory tasks such as user management, group policy configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Switch and Network Hardware Troubleshooting:
• Diagnose and resolve issues with switches, routers, and other networking hardware.

Collaborate with hardware vendors for repairs and upgrades when necessary.
