Warehouse Manager

Duties and Responsibilities as Follows:

•   Order Parts and job materials for a variety of elevator modernization, service, and maintenance projects.
• Planning, coordinating, and monitoring the receipt, order assembly, and dispatch of tools, materials, and equipment
• Use of multiple computer-based tools to process and track order requests (Service Fusion, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word)
• Communicate effectively with management regarding the status/availability of parts, tools, materials, and equipment.
• Inventory control.
• Parts return and credit tracking.
• Maintain good working relationships with vendors.
• Assemble, distribute, and maintain safety equipment for all field employees
• Freight delivery management.
• Oversee maintenance and care of shop vehicles.
• Supervise and assist shop assistant(s) in cleaning and maintaining the warehouse in an orderly fashion.
• Supervise and assist truck driver(s) in the loading and unloading of trucks.
• Minor building repairs.
• Responsible for the efficient, safe operation, and general upkeep of the warehouse.
• Having a clear understanding of the company's policies and vision and how the warehouse contributes to these
• Keeping stock control systems up to date and making sure inventories are accurate
• Motivating, organizing and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded

Job Qualifications and Specific Duties

• High School degree is required. College degree is preferred.
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and have good time management, communication, problem solving & computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook) is necessary
• Previous elevator or construction industry experience is strongly preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 75-100 pounds on a regular basis and stand for long periods of time
• Forklift operation - forklift certification is preferred
• Customer service and verbal communication must be professional.
