Children and teens have very different health needs than adults, and thats true regarding virtually every aspect of medical care. Norton Childrens Gynecology, affiliated with the UofL School of Medicine, provides pediatric and adolescent gynecology care for assigned females at birth up to age 21. We use techniques and instruments specially designed for this age group, and offer a full scope of gynecologic services and surgeries.
Our team understands the variations of normal prepuberty anatomy and physiology, and how to communicate with children, teens and parents on sensitive topics.
Our team has been providing comprehensive pediatric and adolescent gynecology services to our community for more than 25 years. Our staff includes licensed pediatric and adolescent gynecologists, licensed pediatric and adolescent gynecology fellows, and nurse practitioners who treat conditions of the reproductive tract.
