Job Requirements / Description
Responsibilities:
- Foster customer relationships in a team-based selling model.
- Manage deliveries and troubleshoot any problems that occur during the order process.
- Communicate and collect accounts receivable as necessary.
- Develop new business by identifying prospective customers and attending trade shows and conferences.
- Stay informed about market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products.
- Drive to customers to ensure product delivery.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 1+ year of sales experience preferred.
- Foodservice industry/culinary/restaurant management/hospitality experience preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation abilities.
- Ability to build internal and external relationships and cold call to develop new business.
- Competitive spirit and results-driven mentality.
- Problem-solving ability, organization, and negotiation skills.
- Team player with proficient computer skills.
Physical Qualifications (Occasionally, Frequently):
- Standing, walking, driving vehicle, and sitting.
- Lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs frequently; 21-50 lbs occasionally.
- Stooping, squatting, kneeling, and bending occasionally.
- Grasping and manipulating objects frequently.
Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, and geographic location. The expected base rate for this role is between $50,000.00 and $95,000.00 with incentive compensation and benefits including health insurance, retirement benefits, paid time off, and more.
