Job Requirements / Description

Responsibilities:

  • Foster customer relationships in a team-based selling model.
  • Manage deliveries and troubleshoot any problems that occur during the order process.
  • Communicate and collect accounts receivable as necessary.
  • Develop new business by identifying prospective customers and attending trade shows and conferences.
  • Stay informed about market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products.
  • Drive to customers to ensure product delivery.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of sales experience preferred.
  • Foodservice industry/culinary/restaurant management/hospitality experience preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to build internal and external relationships and cold call to develop new business.
  • Competitive spirit and results-driven mentality.
  • Problem-solving ability, organization, and negotiation skills.
  • Team player with proficient computer skills.

Physical Qualifications (Occasionally, Frequently):

  • Standing, walking, driving vehicle, and sitting.
  • Lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs frequently; 21-50 lbs occasionally.
  • Stooping, squatting, kneeling, and bending occasionally.
  • Grasping and manipulating objects frequently.

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, and geographic location. The expected base rate for this role is between $50,000.00 and $95,000.00 with incentive compensation and benefits including health insurance, retirement benefits, paid time off, and more.
