CNC Machinist 3rd shift Vertical Lathe VTL

Role

As a CNC Machinist (also known as Machine Operator, CNC Operator), you'll be responsible for setting up and operating Vertical Turning Centers (VTLs) like Doosan PUMA 1214, Toshiba 150, and Toshiba 200, all with live tooling. You'll interpret blueprints, sketches, and models to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequence of operations, and setup requirements. You'll also monitor and adjust machine controls to ensure quality, and contribute to production improvement methods.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CNC machining experience setting up and running Vertical Turning Centers (VTLs).
• Experience with Mastercam programming and editing.
• Ability to lift materials up to 50 pounds and operate overhead crane and hoists.
