JOB SUMMARY

Scheduled Hours per Day: Monday-Friday from 8am to 4pm.

Works within the vision, mission and philosophy of the agency. Provides daily support of desktop/laptop computers and agency cell phones in the agency. Works with helpdesk and network administration teams to resolve computer desktop/laptop issues, complete computer deployments, installations, and maintain computer and agency cell phone equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Provides internal desktop/laptop support by troubleshooting; resolves software and hardware issues.
  • Provides support and installation of client applications on agency computers and cell phones.
  • Coordinates with other IT areas to resolve problems as necessary.
  • Performs installation, upgrade and configuration of desktop/laptop systems and agency cell phones.
  • Assembles and disassembles computer stations and peripheral equipment when necessary.
  • Provide guidance to users and other team members in a patient, kind manner.
  • Tracks progress of work orders in agency ticketing system.
  • Identifying causes of operational issues and process inefficiencies. Escalate support ticket to tier II support.
  • Performs other related responsibilities, as assigned, to support specific department/business needs.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience supporting Microsoft Windows hardware and software in a networked domain environment.
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience of troubleshooting in a multi-user environment.
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience in PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment and liquidation.
  • Experience in the following technologies:
    • Current Microsoft Windows workstation operating systems.
    • Microsoft Office applications.
    • Desktop networking.
