Antiochian Village Conference & Retreat Center is Seeking a full-time Executive Chef to Join our hospitality team.
Antiochian Village is a Christian Conference & Retreat Center located just north of the charming town of Ligonier, PA. We are owned and operated by the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America. We specialize in group dining for our conference & retreat guests.
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations and management of our group dining facilities and the kitchen staff to ensure the highest quality of food production and service.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute menu planning in line with culinary trends and company standards
- Manage food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Oversee inventory management to control food costs and minimize waste
- Provide leadership and guidance to kitchen staff, including training and development
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with management to create a memorable dining experience for guests
-Budgeting and P&L responsibilities
Requirements- included but are not limited to:
- Proven experience in a similar role with a strong background in group food production and service and kitchen operations
- Proficient in menu planning, recipe development, and execution
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
