Job Title: Vice President of Sales

As Invivyd prepares for our first commercial launch, we have a new opportunity for a Vice President of Sales who will play a pivotal role leading and directing all commercial sales to maximize revenue and operational excellence. This is an incredible opportunity for someone who is passionate about developing and executing a successful sales strategy for rapid growth. The Vice President of Sales is responsible for providing sales leadership as Invivyd prepares for the potential commercialization and launch of VYD222 (an investigational PrEP mAb for COVID-19). As part of this responsibility, this role will engage in thought leader engagement and support corporate initiatives, ensure alignment with the Marketing and Market Access teams, and develop, and execute sales strategies specific to the opportunity. Critical to this will be to oversee the development of region and territory business plans and lead a culture of compliance and adaptability. This leader will have the opportunity and accountability to lead a team of Regional Sales Managers and Key Account Managers. who will be educating on approved messages to specialists across Transplant, Hematology & Oncology accounts.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead the development of a comprehensive national sales plan
  • Build and inspire a high performing, exemplary sales team, starting with first-line managers. Provide leadership, coaching and development to ensure both top tier performance and compliance with Invivyd policies and SOPs (set the “tone at the top”)
  • Oversee the execution of approved sales strategies to maximize results
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional departments, including Medical, Marketing, Patient Support Services, Market Access, Compliance and Trade to ensure seamless and appropriate execution of corporate objectives
  • Lead the field team's preparation and training for successful product launches, fostering a culture of readiness, professionalism, compliance and excellence
  • Drive demand while aligning with long-term sales and profit objectives
  • Drive, analyze, and report on performance/progress (KPI’s/scorecard/priorities/key deliverables)
  • Manage the cross-functional collaboration across the internal Invivyd team and commercialization partners to ensure all operational project deliverables/milestones are achieved
  • Drive team performance through team building, coaching, business planning, training, motivation and management

Education & Experience

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) from an accredited college/university. Master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 15 years in the Biopharma industry
  • 5+ years of pharmaceutical Sales Management successfully overseeing a team of national/region-wide 1st line managers and representatives
  • Experience in sales leadership managing & developing sales teams (in Account Selling, Specialty and/or Hem/Onc) at the national level
  • Diverse experience and exposure to specialty product fulfillment and reimbursement required (e.g., Buy-and-Bill, Specialty Pharmacies, IDNs, and Federal channels)
  • Strong understanding and experience with following the laws, regulations, and industry codes (e.g., the PhRMA Code on Interactions with Healthcare Professionals) that govern appropriate interactions with Healthcare Professionals and Healthcare Organizations

Preferred:

  • Proven record of accomplishment in leading a nationwide pharmaceutical sales team, strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated success in driving health system adoption of branded therapeutics, strongly preferred
  • Marketing, Sales Operations, or project management experience a plus
  • Well versed in various therapeutic areas, contract sales organizations and life cycle management - Advanced
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare landscape and payer dynamics - Advanced
  • Strong leadership, coaching and recruiting skills - Advanced
  • Strong presentation and communication skills - Advanced
  • Ability to adapt to evolving market conditions - Advanced
