Teammates may choose to report to one of two offices in the area- Ft. Myers, Florida or Naples, Florida .
The Sales Executive Assistant position provides a unique opportunity for individuals looking to build a lasting career with a forever company. This position will report to the Commercial Lines Sales Leader in conjunction with the Profit Center Leader and will partner with department leaders, segment leaders, and the regional recruiting team to support the following areas of the business: Executive Assistant functions, new business development and branding, account management, and recruiting. This opportunity is designed for professionals with a foundation in some or all of these areas that are looking to take it to the next level!

General Responsibilities:
Executive Assistant Activities:

  • Executive Assistant to the Profit Center Leader and Sales Leader
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate corporate records, documents, and reports
  • Use various software; including, Word, Excel, Teams, and presentation software to prepare reports and/or special projects
  • Responsible for all travel arrangements, appointments, calendar updates, incoming mail, and phone calls for Profit Center Leader and Sales Leader
  • Manage expense reports for Profit Center Leader and Sales Leader
  • Send communications on behalf of Profit Center Leader and Sales Leader
  • Handle all files, requests from corporate, and confidential information, etc.
  • Generate reports requested by Profit Center Leader
  • Maintain Corporate Assistance files
  • Arrange client and carrier meetings
  • Plan company outings
New Business Development and Branding Activities:
  • Gain proficiency with the proprietary Customer Relationship Manager
  • Support Profit Center Leader in ensuring accuracy of the CRM and appropriate utilization with the sales team
  • Plan sales meetings
  • Responsible for promoting Brown and Brown brand and client/ prospect communications
  • New business development via the CRM, LinkedIn including the management and administration of sales campaigns
  • Input prospects into CRM and assist with implementation of cold calling lists
Account Management Activities:
  • Request Loss Runs from carrier or online as needed or directed
  • Utilize Pre-Renewal Checklists to assist Account Service Managers with renewal marketing process; including, assisting in preparing applications and proposals
  • Request additional information from Insured
  • Complete and submit Loss Notices
  • Mail Claim Follow up to Insured, follow up on all open claims, and process claims documentation as directed by service team
  • Create budget template and complete budgets
  • Prepare Summary of Coverages
  • Assist with Executive Summaries
  • Assist with applications for new business
  • Verify quotes match pre-renewal notes and review proposals
  • Request appraisal, building updates, etc.
  • Communicate with clients, brokers, and underwrites when needed
  • Organize client contacts/ folders
  • Attend renewal and new business meetings as needed
Recruiting Activities:
  • Manage LinkedIn Recruiter seat for the Profit Center
  • Partner with the Regional Recruiter to coordinate outreach of qualified candidates and fill active openings on the team
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma
  • Ability to obtain 2-20 Florida Insurance License within 90 days
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in risk management, business management, or similar degree program
  • Sales experience 3+ years
  • Administrative experience 3+ years
  • Insurance industry experience
