We are open to onboarding the project engineer in any of our office locations: San Leandro, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Ventura, San Juan Capistrano, and San Diego.

Your role looks like:

  1. Performing structural analysis for both lateral (wind and seismic) and gravity systems for buildings comprised of steel, concrete, wood, or masonry.
  2. Producing a comprehensive set of building and/or component calculations tailored to the project type and jurisdiction.
  3. Providing project design (e.g. drawing, detailing, specifications, calculations, processing, plans, estimates) under the direction of a senior staff member.
  4. Producing accurate CAD work that meets appearance and CAD standards.
  5. Interacting with clients and representing RRM in a professional and courteous manner.
  6. Meeting budgets and deadlines.

What you'll bring to the table:

  1. Minimum of 5 (five) years of experience in structural engineering.
  2. Bachelor's Degree in Architectural Engineering or Civil Engineering with a Structural Concentration.
  3. Current knowledge of professional codes, laws, computer applications, and trends.
  4. PE license.

Above & Beyond:

Proficiency and understanding of relevant engineering software (RISA-3D, Enercalc, Tedds, or equivalent).
